Bank of Korea Expects AI-Driven Chip Supercycle to Continue

The Bank of Korea has released a report stating that the global semiconductor market remains in a state of supply shortage. It is expected that the current supercycle driven by artificial intelligence will last for some time, dispelling investors' concerns that the chip cycle has peaked. The report highlights that, despite a significant surge in semiconductor demand fueled by investments in AI infrastructure, the pace of supply expansion is relatively slow, and there are no signs of a slowdown in the semiconductor cycle.
