Flare Launches First XRP Spot Market on Hyperliquid, Introduces FXRP/USDC Trading Pair
BlockBeats News, January 8th, Flare announced the launch of the first XRP spot market on Hyperledger, by listing FXRP and opening the FXRP/USDC trading pair, enabling XRP spot trading on the Hyperledger order book. FXRP is based on Flare's FAssets system and issued following the LayerZero full-chain standard, allowing it to bridge back to the XRP Ledger after trading on Hyperledger.
Flare stated that this action, while maintaining decentralized custody and XRPL as the ultimate settlement layer, expands the utility of XRP in the DeFi space and provides XRP holders with deeper on-chain spot liquidity. (CoinDesk)
