Google Launches Google Multi-Party Compute Security Service to Address AI Threats
Google will unveil its Google Multi-Party Compute (MPC) security service at a digital assets seminar, aimed at helping financial institutions secure and transfer cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets. The service is currently in private preview and is expected to officially launch in early 2027. Alphabet has already used the service to protect its digital assets on Ethereum and Solana, with several financial institutions conducting tests. The system distributes private key shards across different environments and applies institutional rules before signing to reduce the risk of a single point of compromise. The complete private key is never stored in a centralized manner, and clients retain control over the key material.
