Irene Patrikios Appointed Chief Business Officer of Zama
Irene Patrikios has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer of Zama, a company specializing in fully homomorphic encryption. With nearly 12 years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry, she believes that blockchain requires institutions, businesses, and individuals to publicly disclose financial activities to address the challenges of bringing funds on-chain. Patrikios joined Zama in November 2025 and emphasized that confidentiality is the infrastructure that enables global capital institutions to go on-chain. Over the past year, Zama's business team has collaborated with several key players to launch confidential DeFi and establish a business pipeline. Zama's CEO Rand Hindi and the board support the team's next phase of development.
