Kioxia Holdings expects its net profit for the July-September quarter of 2026 to reach 1.27 trillion yen, a year-on-year increase of approximately 31 times, driven by growth in AI data center investments, leading to sustained demand for NAND flash memory. The company announced a stock buyback plan of up to 800 billion yen, intending to repurchase a maximum of 30 million shares, accounting for about 5.5% of the issued shares; it plans to implement a three-for-one stock split on October 1. In the April-June quarter, sales related to data centers increased more than fivefold year-on-year to 1.1747 trillion yen, as demand for AI servers drove storage supply tightness, resulting in a roughly 70% increase in the price of Kioxia's NAND products compared to the previous quarter.
