BlockBeats News, August 2nd, according to official sources, the world's first AIUGC dedicated to the entertainment industry and fan economy ecosystem MEET48 will today hold the first annual WEB3.0 Global Idol Popularity Finals at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong, China (The 1st Web3.0 All-Community Annual Idol Popularity Audition & Ceremony, abbreviated as WIPA). The event, in collaboration with China's large-scale youth girl group SNH48 GROUP, will introduce blockchain mechanisms into the idol selection system, providing exclusive singles, overseas stages, and game endorsements as prestigious rewards for the top-ranked real idols and AI-Agent virtual idols.
Reportedly, the exclusive title sponsor of WIPA is the AIUGC virtual idol sound and dance development ecosystem simulation game "AuditionsGO," developed by the original operating marketing team behind the globally popular "Audition" game. Jacky Wu will appear as a special guest presenter, with performances by Super Junior-D&E, Sandara Park, Yohji Yamamoto - MIYAVI, as well as artists from the Silk family, Karry Wang Junkai, and the winner of the 11th SNH48 General Election Yuan Yiqi. Tony Kao, Daisy Lu, and Ruby Wu will serve as hosts.
The final vote for WIPA officially closed on August 2nd at 2:00 UTC and the final results will be announced live at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong, China. As of the WIPA countdown to 1 week, WIPA has received over 48.25 million IDOL, accounting for 1.01% of the total IDOL supply, setting a historic record in the Web3 entertainment field.
