The Ethereum Foundation has announced the launch of Project Odin, aimed at helping key infrastructure teams establish diverse and sustainable funding sources through a structured support mechanism, reducing reliance on a single funding channel.

Project Odin is initiated by ecosystem participants and is positioned as a 12-month structured support program. Its core mechanism is to equip selected teams with embedded strategic advisors who will engage early in sustainable planning, covering funding pathway research, business model validation, partnership expansion, and execution. This will help teams establish at least one repeatable "revenue-like" funding source, such as support contracts, service agreements, or training collaborations. It is reported that the first pilot team for this program is the Foundation for Verified Software.
