BlockBeats News, January 18th, X's official creator account @XCreators announced that X's earnings distribution reached a record high at the end of 2025 since the launch of the self-profit plan. 2026 is the Year of the Creator, and X is doubling down on creators' strongest area, "writing." The goal is to recognize high-value, high-impact content creators who can shape discussions, spark news, and drive cultural development. The Creator Studio will also soon launch a more detailed revenue overview panel. X will prioritize article formats over short-form content. The aim is to build X into the best platform for earning money through content, and this is just the beginning.

X will award an additional $1 million to the next period's highest-earning article. The article must be original, have a minimum of 1000 words, and will mainly be judged based on exposure on the homepage timeline, with only U.S. users eligible to participate. Content that violates X's policies, contains hate speech, fraud, or manipulative content is not eligible. The article publishing window is from January 16th to 28th.
