Bittensor Fund Partner: Cryptocurrencies Are More Reliable Than the Internet Against AI and Quantum Attacks

By: coinspot.io|10/25/2026 04:41:00

Bittensor Fund partner Mark Jeffrey stated that cryptocurrencies are better prepared for potential attacks using artificial intelligence and quantum computing than most conventional digital services. He believes that in the event of mass attacks, the cryptocurrency sector will be one of the last targets capable of withstanding pressure. Jeffrey noted that AI and quantum technologies will primarily strike at the familiar digital infrastructure, including online credit card payments, email, access to bank accounts, medical records, and brokerage accounts. These services will face critical problems before cryptocurrencies do. Jeffrey explained his position with the history of the market: cryptocurrencies have been under pressure from malicious actors for over 15 years, making them one of the most secure digital systems. He believes that cryptocurrency will "die last," as banks and other services will be threatened first in the event of large-scale attacks. This comment was made in a podcast by blogger threadguy with cybersecurity expert tayvano_.
